Project Overview

SEAMEO RECFON Digital Library is an institutional platform providing access to books, research papers, and journals. The website allows users to search, read, and download academic publications.

The original system was built using SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System), a PHP-based open-source library management software. However, the interface lacked responsiveness and had overly complex navigation.

This project focused on UX restructuring and responsive redesign without modifying the core backend system.

Pages Structure

The redesigned website consists of five core pages:

  • Home – Overview and featured publications

  • Search – Advanced search functionality for books and journals

  • Book Detail – Publication metadata, preview, and download access

  • Login – User authentication for restricted resources

  • Contact – Institutional contact information
